Limiting nevirapine resistance in postpartum women (A collaboration between SEARCH, HIV-NAT, AFRIMS, Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health, Rajavithi Hospital and University of Hawaii)

Dr. Jintanat Ananworanich is the overall principal investigator for Thai sites, Dr. Tawee Chotpitayasunondh is the principal investigator for Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health and Dr. Suvanna Asavapiriyanont is the principal investigator for Rajavithi Hospital.

A Phase II Randomized Comparison of Three Antiretroviral Strategies Administered for 7 or 21 Days to Reduce the Emergence of Nevirapine Resistant HIV-1 Following a Single Intrapartum Dose of Nevirapine

This study plans to enroll 30 mother-infant pairs. The study is in the planning stages and is currently on hold at the Thai sites.
