Colonel Dr. Samart Nidhinandana: Principal Investigator, Dr. Victor Valcour: co-Principal Investigator and Rank Captain Dr. Pasiri Sithinamsuwan: Project Leader). This NIH-funded study is conducted at Phramongkutklao hospital. The study has enrolled three groups of patients: 15 with HIV-associated dementia, 15 with no dementia and 30 HIV-negative controls. The patients will complete their 96-week follow up in January 2008.
