Establish and characterize an acute HIV infection cohort in a Thai high risk population

This is a study designed to screen 12,000 clients at the TRCARC clinic and enroll at least 30 persons with acute HIV infection (HIV antibody negative, nucleic acid positive) into a cohort study.  They will be followed for 2 years. This study will commence in April 2009.
