SEARCH is a rapidly growing organization. SEARCH personnel works closely with collaborators from the partner organizations as well as other collaborators. Currently, SEARCH has five staff members based in Bangkok and has plans to employ more staff in the near future.
Jintanat Ananworanich, MD, Ph.D. heads the SEARCH operations and also holds an Associate Professor position at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Jintanat has expertise in developing protocols and managing adult and pediatric HIV clinical trials involving international and national sites. She has been a trainer on HIV/AIDS issues particularly antiretroviral and treatment of children with HIV.
Nittaya Phanuphak, MD is the deputy chief of SEARCH who joining us in May 2008. She is an HIV dermatologist, specialized in prevention of mother to child transmission and in sexual health. At SEARCH, she will be responsible for implementation of research protocols. She is also a part time physician at The Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre.
is the clinical trial physician of SEARCH. He is a HIV specialist and medical oncologist. He has expertise in HIV/AIDS and oncology field. He also interest in HIV-related malignancy and cancer pathogenesis in HIV patients.
is a clinical trials manager and training coordinator. She is an experienced research nurse who is responsible for clinical trial studies monitoring. In addition, she will work closely with chief and deputy chief of SEARCH on conducting HIV/AIDS trainings to physicians, nurses, laboratory technicians and peer educators.
is a research nurse who has several years of experience in HIV clinical trials. She is involving in primarily HIV vaccine cohort and acute HIV infection studies.
is the clinical trials nurse who had experienced in emergency and trauma field in well-trained university hospital for many years. Now she join with SEARCH and involved several HIV/AIDS clinical studies especially neuroAIDS studies and neuropsychological testing.
R is a research nurse, in charged of the study title “Comparing the use of d4T-based regimen as lead-in for the first 6 months versus AZT-based and TDF-based first line regimens” She has many years of experience in patient treatment and HIV researches. She based at Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital, our study sites in Chonburi province.
is the laboratory coordinator. Before joining SEARCH, she worked many years in laboratory section in private hospitals and specializes in immunology laboratory. She will be in charge of SEARCH studies regarding laboratory session
is the biostatistician and data manager. She has experience in clinical trials and large epidemiology studies. She provides expertise in setting up database and analyzing neuroAIDS and other clinical trial data.
is the psychosocial program coordinator. She has over ten years of experience working with non governmental organizations in helping children with HIV infection. She coordinates three charity programs that provide support for medical and psychosocial care for children with HIV and their families.
is the financial and office manager. She is an experienced accountant and has managed large projects at international organizations before joining SEARCH.
