SEARCH can coordinate and provide adult and pediatric HIV/AIDS training to physicians, nurses and other health care personnel as well as peer educators upon request.
In March 2007, The Children’s Rights Foundation provided funding to SEARCH in collaboration with HIV-NAT to conduct Pediatric HIV/AIDS training for two physicians from Myanmar.
In January 2008, SEARCH, in association with HIV-NAT, arranged 5-day-HIV/AIDS training for 3 Vietnamese physicians from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Ministry of Health and Provincial HIV/AIDS Committee, Vietnam office.
In May 2008, SEARCH and The Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre (TRCARC) conducted Pediatric Second Line Antiretroviral Therapy training for 10 physicians from China. This program was supported by UNICEF, China.
In July 2008, SEARCH and Pediatric Infectious Disease Society of Thailand (PIDST) provided training program on PMTCT and Pediatric HIV Management to 10 physicians from South East Asia countries, including Thailand. ABBOTT, Thailand supported for the program.
In November 2008, SEARCH provided WHO Advanced Training on Second Line ART to 10 physicians and 8 program managers from India. The program is supported by WHO India.
