The Bangkok Symposium on HIV Medicine is organized annually by HIV-NAT, the HIV Netherlands, Australia, Thailand AIDS Research Collaboration, a division of the Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre.
The symposium aims to provide updated information on HIV treatments and research for physicians and allied health professionals in the Asia-Pacific region and to stimulate debates through a series of panel discussions on HIV-related issues.

The Neuro AIDS session at the Bangkok Symposium is co-sponsored by HIV-NAT, SEARCH and University of Hawaii. The session combines sharing of new and practical information on the diagnosis and management of common neurological and psychological problems through case studies with hands-on experience in identifying neuropsychological problems in HIV-infected persons.
