SEARCH research forum is a venue for HIV researchers to share, discuss and collaborate on studies of mutual interest. 

SEARCH has held two SEARCH Research Forums on NeuroAIDS in January and November of 2006. The latest, held in October 2008, involved  Neuro AIDS, basic science of mitochondrial toxicity, metabolic complications and HIV prevention.

Each Forum is chaired by a well respected international expert.  In November 2006 was chaired by Professor David B. Clifford, M.D. from Melba and Forest Seay, Washington University School of Medicine and the most recent forum in October 2008 was chaired by Professor Cecilia Shikuma, M.D. from John A. Burns School of Medicine University of Hawaii (UH) at Manoa in Honolulu.

The Forum was attended by researchers from HIV-NAT, The Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre, Pharmaongkutklao Hospital, Chulalongkorn University, Vajira Hospital, Chiang Rai Hospital, Bamrasnaradura Institute, Khon Kaen University, Nakornping Hospital and Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital.
